With the needed rain comes a closure as of this morning. We had a Pro Trails crew member out yesterday evening and he reports that things are already saturated. With Caballo Rojo and Saddle Cut being so new it is important to stay off.
While we are here I just want to mention this: When Tamo closes it is an indication that conditions are not ideal for riding the single track trails. If you are asked 'where can I ride' it is best to steer them to places that are built for impact, like the fire roads on Mt. Tam.
MTS also manages the trails at San Domenico and although we don't do rain closures there, it is not responsible to ride Solstice because Tamo is closed. Same to be said for Hobo Trail.
