Extreme rattlesnake activity on the Serpentine boardwalk! At least 3 large rattlers seen in the last 24 hours. Confirmed at 11am and 3pm today that they are still present. Currently working with the Boy Scout ranger AJ to deal with the situation. In the meantime I would personally not cross that bridge. Alternative routes through the meadow are allowed.
I'll post updates here and on IG as soon as it's resolved.
Update @ 7pm: Marin Humane came out and got two from under the boardwalk. Another rattled at me coming out of Otis trail just before J2, under the oak tree. They are everywhere right now! //
